Writing Guidelines

SOAR is published four times a year.
The purpose of SOAR magazine is to equip women to recognize, utilize and maximize their influence in all the spheres of their lives.

SOAR is a ministry of the Center for Emerging Female Leadership, Inc. The ministry of CEFL seeks to help women live purposefully, learn abundantly, lead excellently
but continues throughout the seasons of a woman's life as we encourage, equip and develop them.

To address this broader influence, SOAR magazine targets women of all seasons in leadership (in home, church or society) from a Christian perspective.

SOAR magazine will be archived online at the CEFL.ORG site, provide  an online community for SOAR readers to discuss topics at
www.ceflonline.com, and provide interactive resources and more. SOAR will be geared towards women of faith who have a yearning to be all that God intends for them.

We want women to know that no matter where they find themselves, they have a wonderful opportunity through God, to soar and keep soaring. SOAR equips women to recognize, utilize and maximize their unique influence in all the spheres of their lives from a Christian perspective. SOAR is for women in all seasons of life and offers a community where women can connect and be stretched by women who are at different places on their journey.

To accomplish these goals, the magazine features contributors from women who are established voices and also will seek out and platform new voices. The tone of articles for SOAR magazine should be engaging and thought-provoking. SOAR  seeks to engage our audience as women on a journey, open to questions and not afraid to address difficult issues. A portion of the magazine content will be thematic and a portion will be regular features and articles addressing leadership topics and spiritual growth topics for women.
